Mak 90 sporter ammo

The most common AK rifle copy sold in the United States is the Chinese-made MAK 90. Designed as a military weapon, it is easily disassembled and worked but not necessarily simple. While the Russian and other military AK type rifles have battlefield exchangeable parts, the MAK 90 does not.
I was looking for a flash hider/Muzzle break for my MAK-90 which doesn't have a threaded barrel. I bought an AK-74 Muzzle break/flash hider with the cross rolling pin style at a gun show and they sold it to me as a "30 seconds installation"...just pull out the forward pin in the front sight assembly, put this in and push in the rolling pin.

Like most my MAK 90 is ammo sensitive for accuracy. At rest my best 5 shot 50 yard groups range from a consistent 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" with Barnaul or Golden Tiger with very few fliers (5%?). I get on average 1-3/4" to 3-1/2" with some old white box HP I bought back in the late eighties and ever popular Brown Bear.

Another reason why I strongly considered buying the MAK 90 instead of an AR-15 is the current demand on ammo. The 7.62x39mm ammo is way cheaper compared the the 223/556 ammo. With the current situation going with Covid 19, the MAK-90 is the best buy for the buck.
